Description
Alcohol is used by about 3 out of 4 adults in the United States. In recent years, micro-breweries and DORA districts have become economic drivers for Ohio cities. And yet the Surgeon General just released a report that links several kinds of cancer to even small amounts of alcohol use. In this webinar, Kristina will share strategies to break through to individuals when community readiness for adult alcohol use is low and change seems impossible.

This webinar is provided at no cost. PF! will be applying for Prevention CEUs and CHES hours. The prevention education domain for this session is: P2- Prevention Education & Service Delivery

Training Objectives

  1. Participants will gain knowledge about a standard drink of alcohol and the low-risk drinking guidelines.
  2. Participants will learn how alcohol plays a role in their wellness.
  3. Participants will develop skills related to talking about alcohol's impact on individuals, families, and communities.
